Welcome to Embedding Excellence: Transforming Professional Development for Educators, a two-day national professional development conference in Bangalore, India, funded by the United States Agency for International Development and hosted by Education Development Center on August 30-31, 2010.
Over these two days we will examine current teacher professional development practices in India; the concept of Teacher-Centered Professional Development (TCPD);global issues around professional development; best practices in India and other parts of Asia; and models for implementing TCPD.
